Increase Your Energy & Productivity
Have you ever wondered what it might take to have more energy and increase your productivity?
As real estate agents, we are constantly pulled in a million different directions, and it is almost impossible to anticipate the needs of your clients, your family and then still have time to take care of yourself. At the end of the day it’s not that I don’t want to stay awake and finish the movie with my wife or spend a few extra minutes playing with the kids, sometimes I just don’t have the energy.
As a Certified High-Performance Coach, I have found that what Brenden Burchard teaches has a significant impact on how I handle my day. I can always tell the difference between when I practice his high energy tips and when I don’t.
So today, we are going to review the top 3 practices you need to know to increase your energy and productivity.
Release Tension and Set Intention
This is one concept that I find helpful because I frequently find myself emotionally invested in those around me. To transition from one session to the next can be difficult when I have any client who is having a hard time in business.
That’s why I spend time breathing and intentionally preparing for what’s next. I allow myself to let go entirely of what has happened before I move on so that I know I can focus all of my attention on what’s about to happen.
Bring the Joy
This may seem like such a simple step, but I promise when you bring joy with you into a room people notice and when they notice they become energized, and so do you. Set times throughout the day to check in with yourself and see if you are continuing to bring joy to those around you.
Some of you may want to set the alarm on your phone to remind you multiple times a day that you are in charge of the way you feel and the way you interact with others.
This is one of the most important aspects of having higher energy and increased productivity. However, for too many of us, it’s usually the last priority. Set healthy goals for yourself throughout the week and make sure you’re spending time investing in your health.
When I first started my health journey I made a straightforward goal for myself to drink more water, which then leads to eating more healthy, and then more exercise. I am now a lover of salads and a member of “the 5 am club”, which is the time I wake up to run each day.
